Indications
Androcap contains an active substance that is converted into testosterone in the body. Testosterone is the natural male hormone essential for the normal growth, development, and functioning of male sexual organs, as well as for the development of secondary male sex characteristics. Androcap is typically prescribed to replace testosterone when the body is unable to produce sufficient levels of this hormone. The product comes in soft, oval, glossy capsules that are transparent with an orange-red color, containing an oily substance.

Pharmacology
Testosterone plays a crucial role in male sexual differentiation and is involved in regulating hematopoiesis (blood cell production), body composition, and bone metabolism. In men with hypogonadism (low testosterone levels), testosterone replacement therapy can improve sexual function, increase lean body mass, bone density, erythropoiesis (red blood cell production), prostate size, and even alter lipid profiles.

Testosterone is primarily produced by Leydig cells in the testes and exerts its effects by binding to androgen receptors in various tissues throughout the body. Men with low testosterone levels often experience symptoms such as reduced libido, fatigue, mood swings, and general discomfort. Dosage

Interaction
Food is essential for the absorption of Androcap, so it should always be taken with a meal. Other medications may either alter the effectiveness of Androcap or may be affected by it. You should inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or planning to use any of the following:

• Rifampicin (an antibiotic)
• Medications for epilepsy
• Medications for sleep disorders

Contraindications
Do not take Testosterone if you:

• Have a tumor of the prostate or breast
• Are allergic (hypersensitive) to Testosterone Undecanoate or any of its ingredients

Side Effects
General side effects may include:

• Fluid retention, often resulting in swelling of the ankles or feet

Storage Conditions
