Pharmacology
This preparation is a well-balanced combination of essential non-systemic antacids known for their efficacy and palatability. The formulation offers reliable relief from hyperacidity without causing acid rebound, constipation, or cathartic effects. It provides symptomatic relief for conditions such as heartburn, acid ingestion, and sour stomach.
- Aluminium Hydroxide Gel: A slow-acting antacid with high neutralizing power, it also acts as an adsorbent with a prolonged effect.
- Magnesium Hydroxide: Possesses slow but sustained acid-neutralizing properties.
Both ingredients contribute to forming a protective coating over the ulcer surface, facilitating healing and protecting the sensitive mucosa of the stomach and duodenum from further irritation.
