Pharmacology

After oral administration, both Flupentixol and Melitracen reach peak serum concentration in approximately 4 hours. Dosage & Administration

• Adults: Typically, 2 tablets daily—one in the morning and one at noon. In severe cases, the morning dose may be increased to 2 tablets.
• Elderly patients: Usually, 1 tablet in the morning.
• Maintenance dose: 1 tablet in the morning. If the patient experiences insomnia or severe restlessness, an additional sedative may be recommended during the acute phase.
