Description

Indications:
Bepogen is indicated for relieving itching and other symptoms associated with allergic conjunctivitis.

Pharmacology:
Bepotastine is a topically active H1-receptor antagonist and inhibits histamine release from mast cells, offering fast and effective relief from eye allergies.

Dosage & Administration:
The recommended dosage is 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.

• Pediatric Use: Safety and efficacy for children below 2 years have not been established.

Use as directed by a registered physician.

Interactions:
No known drug interactions, but caution should be taken for individuals sensitive to Bepotastine.

Contraindications:
Do not use if hypersensitive to Bepotastine Besilate or any other component of the formulation.

Side Effects:
Reported side effects may include headache, mild eye irritation, or an unusual taste in the mouth.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Pregnancy Category C: Use only if the potential benefit outweighs the risk.
• It is unknown if Bepotastine is excreted in breast milk; caution is advised for nursing mothers.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Bepogen.
• Do not apply while wearing contact lenses.

Overdose Effects:
If overused, rinse the eye with warm water and skip the next dose.

Storage Conditions:
Store at 15º-25ºC and protect from light. Use within 30 days of opening. Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use.
