Pharmacology
Zinc plays a crucial role in various biological functions, including immune system support, wound healing, digestion, reproduction, physical growth, and cognitive development. It is essential for normal development during pregnancy, childhood, and adolescence and also exhibits antioxidant properties. In children, zinc is used for managing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Zinc deficiency in adults can lead to loss of appetite, impaired taste and smell, depression, white spots on fingernails, frequent infections, low fertility, prostate issues, mental fog, poor wound healing, immune deficiencies, diarrhea, skin roughness, and unintended weight loss.

B vitamins are vital for energy metabolism and play a significant role in maintaining healthy brain function, nerve function, and red blood cell production in both children and adults. They are particularly essential for children’s growth and development. A deficiency in B vitamins in adults may result in severe fatigue, neurological problems such as weakness, imbalance, confusion, irritability, memory impairment, nervousness, tingling sensations in the limbs, and coordination difficulties. Other symptoms may include sleep disturbances, nausea, poor appetite, frequent infections, and skin issues.
