Deslor 5 mg
Description
Indications
Deslor is primarily used for the relief of symptoms associated with both seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. These symptoms include sneezing, nasal discharge, itching, congestion or stuffiness, ocular itching, tearing, redness, and itching of the palate. Additionally, Deslor is effective in managing chronic idiopathic urticaria, alleviating symptoms such as itching, as well as reducing the size and number of hives.
Use as directed by a registered medical practitioner.
Pharmacology
Desloratadine, the active metabolite of Loratadine, is a long-acting, non-sedating antihistamine. It selectively antagonizes H1 histamine receptors, offering effective histamine blockade. In addition, Desloratadine has the ability to inhibit histamine release from human mast cells, contributing to its therapeutic effects.
