Indications

This sterile eye gel drop is indicated for:

• Relieving dryness of the eye.
• Temporarily relieving discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or from exposure to wind and sun.
• Acting as a protectant against further irritation.

Pharmacology

Isotear Liquigel is a sterile eye gel drop containing two lubricants: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium and Hypromellose. This formulation delivers the relief of a gel while maintaining the convenience of a drop. It lubricates the surface of the eyes to provide relief from dryness and irritation.

Dosage & Administration

Instill one or two drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Hypromellose, or any ingredient in the formulation.

Side Effects

• Common side effects: Blurred vision.
• Rare side effects: Matting or stickiness of eyelashes.

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Pregnancy: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium and Hypromellose have not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems during pregnancy.
• Lactation: These ingredients have not been shown to cause issues during breastfeeding.

Precautions & Warnings

Stop use and consult a healthcare provider if you experience:

• Eye pain
• Changes in vision
• Continued redness or irritation of the eye
• Condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours

Storage Conditions

• Use within 30 days after the first opening.
• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place.
