Fiberlax is indicated for:

Composition:
Each spoonful contains 3.5 gm Psyllium husk as the active ingredient. When mixed with water, the husk forms a thick gel that helps relieve constipation and regularize bowel movements.

Psyllium Husk is a mild laxative containing 80% soluble fiber. The primary chemical component is mucilage, which is highly beneficial in treating chronic constipation, piles, hemorrhoids, and colon cancer. It also has soothing effects on the gastric and intestinal mucosa, making it effective for gastric irritation and ulceration. Furthermore, Psyllium Husk is known to lower serum cholesterol levels (LDL) and reduce blood glucose levels, which is especially beneficial for obese and diabetic patients.

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 1 spoonful with water 2 times daily or as per doctor’s advice.
• Children aged 6 to 12 years: ½ to 1 spoonful with water depending on age and size, in the morning and at bedtime or as per doctor’s advice.
• Children below 6 years: Not recommended unless directed by a physician.
  An additional glass of water is recommended after taking the gel.

• Fill the glass with 150 ml (or 2/3 of the glass) of water, stir, and drink immediately.
