Description

Indications:
Nutrum Eye is formulated to provide nutritional support for age-related eye diseases (ARED). It contains essential antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and lutein, designed to help protect the eyes from oxidative stress and reduce the risk of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and cataracts.

Composition (Per Capsule):

• Vitamin C: 60 mg
• Vitamin E: 30 mg
• Lutein (Ph. grade): 6 mg
• Copper (as Cupric oxide): 2 mg
• Zinc (as Zinc oxide BP): 15 mg

Pharmacology:

• Vitamin C: Concentrated in the lens and may reduce the risk of cataracts. It also scavenges harmful free radicals.
• Vitamin E: Acts as an antioxidant, potentially lowering the risk of cataracts and neutralizing free radicals.
• Lutein: Found in the macula, lutein may protect against oxidative damage and light exposure, reducing AMD risk.
• Zinc: Supports enzyme functions, immune response, wound healing, and taste perception.
• Copper: Essential for growth, skeletal health, and nervous system development, playing a role in numerous metabolic conversions.

Dosage & Administration:
One capsule once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician.

Contraindications:
Not recommended for individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

Side Effects:

• Vitamin C: High doses may cause diarrhea and gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Vitamin E: Excessive intake may lead to fatigue, weakness, and gastrointestinal issues.
